Throw out those crappy frappes- this pudding is just as delicious (if not more so) and half the calories. Not to mention it has 20g of protein! This birthday cake protein pudding is the JAM!
You’ll need:
*2 TSP Vanilla
*1 1/2 Scoop Birthday Cake Protein powder from AboutTime (Use code HAPPILYHUGHES)
*1 Package Organic Vanilla Pudding Mix
*2 Cups Almond Milk
*Optional 2 TBSP Chia Seeds
1. Put a saucepan on medium heat.
2. Pour milk, vanilla, protein powder, almond milk, and pudding mix into the saucepan. You can also add the chia seeds if you want. Then mix thoroughly.
3. Continue to mix as it comes to a boil. Once boiling, cook for 1 minute longer, then remove from heat and pour into containers of choice.
4. Refrigerate for 2 hours+ then enjoy!
Could you substitute soy milk or regular milk for the almond milk? My boys are allergic to nuts.
Same here – we're nut free! I can't do almond milk at home. Maybe regular milk would work!
I hope so too!
Hi ladies, yes regular milk will work like a charm!!
Oooh that looks vry good. I have some Birthday Cake protein powder but haven't tried it yet. This is the recipe I needed to get me to open that container! Thank you.
I hadn't realized that pudding powders worked with almond milk…
I didn't know they did either, but oddly enough almond milk works like a charm!
I have never had Birthday Cake Protein Powder but it would be RIGHT up my alley! This looks great!

This sounds good. I use muscle milk cake batter protein powder in a few different recipes – haven't tried something like this yet. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sam, I use the Cinnamon Spice on everything! Especially my iced chai in the morning 🙂
Cool recipe! I've been seeing a lot of pancake recipes made with about time but never a pudding! I only really like vanilla wafer pudding but this looks good. I love birthday cake anything.
You can put some wafers in this, i won't tell anyone 😉
