Check out the end of the post for the rest of the Halloween Party posts! So many fun Halloween DIYs. |
It is SO hard to find a pregnancy Halloween costume that doesn’t involve buns in ovens or Prego cans. So I’ve put together this easy DIY Disco Ball costume for all my preggos and mamas out there! I’ve shown you two different ways to make it below- those in warmer and colder climates. Hope ya’ll love this easy Halloween DIY costume as much as I do! Oh and did I mention there’s a Shabby Apple giveaway at the end of this post for a tulle skirt of your choice!!
First let’s discuss the makeup, as it definitely makes the costume. All cosmetics and artistry are Painted Earth. Many of you have heard me talk about Painted Earth Skin Care, but if you’re new to the blog it’s safe to say I am obsessed. The entire line is all-natural, cruelty-free, and (yes I dare to say it) better than any makeup I’ve ever used before. P.S. you can use code HAPPILY at checkout for a discount! Here are the products used above:
- Falling Star, White Diamond, and Dazzle Dust Eye Glitter
- Moon Dust Eye Shimmer
- Black Diamond Dimensional Cake Liner
- Indelible Gel Brow Liner
- Lashluxe Mascara in Black
- Berry Swirl Baked Mineral Blush
- Saffron Mineral Camouflage Concealer
- Perfect Every Thyme Baked Mineral Powder
- Brightening CC Cream
Then we took some sticker rhinestones and embellished my face. Seems pretty simple right? Now onto the costume.
See what I did there? You can wear a long sleeve shirt with a sweet blitzed out disco ball, or you can wear a bandeau top and stick that glittery goodness right on your belly. Pair it with a tulle skirt (which every woman needs) and you’re done. You will need:
- OR a
- Dazzling Resin Adhesive Sheet
- Shabby Apple Tulle Skirt
- Basketball
- Sharpie
- Scissors
If you’re wearing the long sleeve shirt, put the shirt on and draw an X on the shirt where your belly button is. This X should be the center of the adhesive. Next, use a basketball to trace a perfect circle on the back of the adhesive jeweled paper. Use the scissors to cut this out and Ta-Daaaa you have your disco ball! If you’re just doing the bandeau, take that sweet little circle and place it directly on your belly.
If you already have a little one, here are some great costumes you can pair with this:

- Girls:
I’ve also pinned some of my favorite pregnancy, toddler, and mom/son combo Halloween costumes on Pinterest:
