Christmas is a big deal at our house. My parents always made it a priority to do allll the Christmas things as a family, and I still hold those precious memories close. I try and do the same for my children. Especially when it comes to house decor. I want them to come home and feel so comforted and excited for the holidays, as I did as a child. So here is how we decorated this year, with the help of of Wayfair!
This is my favorite spot in the house, because of the fireplace of course! I love to curl up with the kids here and watch a Christmas movie.
Decorating the tree always kills me! Look at little baby Henley! And Hudson’s hand ornaments from years ago. I forgot how tiny they were. The kids love to sit under the tree and watch the Polar Express train chug through the candlelit town. They’re great about turning all the candles on when nightfalls and off before we go to bed.
This is Henley’s favorite room in the house. The girl is obsessed with mercury trees! She has been since last Christmas when I would catch her cute toddler booty trying to climb onto the table to turn them on!! She’ll sit here with me while I work and just watch the trees and tell me stories about them.
