My Organic Revamped Mama Giveaway! See bottom of post for details.
I don’t know about you, but I love a good tan. It makes me feel sexy. Sadly, laying out and tanning beds are down right awful for you. I used to be a tanaholic and at 26 I’m paying for it dearly- I have to go to the dermatologist once every six months and EVERY time they take at least one biopsy. A couple of those have come back precancerous. Not willing to become more holey than a block of swiss, I’ve switched to spray and self tans. I do have my own spray tanner and love it, but an easy-to-apply self tan makes my world go round.
After years of searching and tons of money spent, I’ve found the goods. Ecotan Invisible Tan is the bees knees, the peanut butter to my jelly, the apple of my eye. First, it’s organic which you all know I adore. Secondly, it smells like roses- literally. Lastly, it gives the best all around and even glow.
Like I said earlier, I’ve been doing this for awhile, so I’ve posted below the best tips to get an even and lasting self tan:
*Two days before applying, exfoliate skin with a body scrub- I use Frank. Why two days before? Because most scrubs have an oil in them that if used the day of tanning, will cause unevenness and won’t allow it to penetrate the skin deeply.
*The day of shower, shave, and loofa your entire body. Scrub until you don’t think you can scrub anymore. ONLY apply lotion to your elbows, knees, ankles and feet.
