Obviously family events are important to us. The Saturday night Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn and US Weekly’s Family Movie Night at Avalon was exactly what we enjoy doing. There were friends and family everywhere, free popcorn, and Hudson’s favorite movie playing. Plus that beautiful Georgia fall weather decided to make an appearance, adding just the right ambience to the evening.
If you’ve never been to the Avalon, make sure you visit in the near future. It’s an outdoor shopping mall that has plenty of events and a playing field that’s great for the kids to run around and burn off some extra steam. The movie night was hosted on the plaza, right in front of the movie theater.
There was an Orville Redenbacher concession stand handing out loads of delicious and buttery popcorn, the perfect snack for the evening. I brought along our favorite beverages, some blankets and sweaters, and we were set! Hudson would hop up and run around with the other kids for a bit, then come back and snuggle with me for the movie. By the end of the night he was passed out and the hubbs and I were relaxed and happy. What a great event!
