  1. I no longer travel without a dirty laundry bag. I’ve learned that after some terrible experiences. It doesn’t even have to be fancy, a large kitchen garbage bags works for me.

  2. I HATE packing but I have actually become pretty GOOD at it lately. I always write a list of everything I need and think I need and plan out outfits for each day I am gone so I don’t over pack!

  3. I seem to always forget an umbrella when I travel. It’s the last thing I think of and have space for, but getting a tiny one seems to be the way to go.

  4. Thank you for these great tips. I like the throwing in a bag for dirty clothing. I have found lately that some hotels do not have those laundry bags anymore in the rooms.

  5. Cutest luggage ever! I need to start bringing a dirty laundry bag with me- the ones at hotels are like itty bitty teeny tiny!

  6. Defenitly second the American Tourister luggage, I love their bags! I also like to pack a wet bag, as well as a dirty laundry bag.

  7. I definitely need a dirty laundry bag! I usually wind up using a plastic bag from the hotel. Lol.

  8. I’m getting ready to go to Cali today, so perfect timing to come across this! All great tips & I LOVE that suitcase!!!

These are great tips. I used to forget taking a dirty laundry bag because I assumed I could use the hotel’s laundry room to take care of that. But there were times when I was son wrong. Lesson learned. I do take one now everytime I travel!

  10. I love to travel but packing has always been hard for me. Thank you for giving some tips!

  11. We’re traveling to Boston next month and I can’t wait to try out these tips! We’re each taking a backpack for luggage so we don’t have to check any bags. Pray from me.

  12. Love the toiletirees bag and the umbrellas. Good for a purest or bookbag for kids. Thanks for this post. Helps a lot

  13. Wine does make a wonderful gift – anytime! I think if anyone asks me what I want this year, I will in fact ask for wine… it’s one of those things a girl should always have on hand ?
