If ya’ll have been reading awhile, you know why I love fairlife ultra filtered milk. If you don’t know, go back and read this post. I had the pleasure of actually going to the Fair Oaks Farm in Indiana, and got to meet one of the founders. Her passion for providing the best products for us and our families, while simultaneously giving her “ladies” (a.k.a. cows) their best lives has made me a fairlife fan for life. fairlife recently released a new product called SuperKids ultra filtered milk and it is making my mama heart siiiiing!
fairlife’s SuperKids ultra filtered milk
If you want to know more about fairlife’s original ultra filtered milk, check out my blog post here. The new SuperKids line has even more to be impressed by. And dare I say it, it tastes even better? If you checked my fridge right now you’d see one carton of the SuperKids 2% ultra filtered milk and 3 cartons of the SuperKids chocolate ultra filtered milk. We’re serious about our milk over here friends. Hudson, Jason and I drink the chocolate, and Henley drinks the 2%. I also sometimes use the 2% in my coffee as creamer! But I digress, why is this new SuperKids line so exciting?
- It has 3.5x the DHA vs. the leading DHA Omega 3 milk. DHA is imperative for the healthy growth of our children’s brains!
- SuperKids also has 50% more protein vs. the leading DHA Omega 3 milk. Toddlers need .55 grams of protein per pound and this insures they get it!
- It also contains: 30% more calcium, 20% more vitamin D AND nine essential vitamins and minerals, compared to the leading DHA Omega 3 milk.
But that’s not all. SuperKids does not contain added colors, sugars or growth hormones. And the SuperKids 2% ultra filtered milk contains 30% less sugar while the SuperKids chocolate ultra filtered milk contains 50% less sugar than the leading DHA Omega 3 milk,. You’re probably wondering why I claim this milk is better tasting if it contains less sugar. It actually has to do with how the cows are treated and how their milk is processed. You’ll have to go back and read my farm post to understand how the cows are treated, but in summation: they are treated like queens. The milk is put through a special process, hence the “ultra-filtered” in the name. This extra filtration allows for more of the vitamins and minerals to make it through, while getting rid of excess sugars etc. Just go buy a carton and try it, you’ll understand why I’m so passionate about this brand! It is the only milk I will feed my family.
Kids Look like they are really enjoying the milk. I am going to have to try this brand with my daughter, she is a milk lover!
I’m not a huge fan of milk, but your post makes me think that might be because of the rubbish I buy from the supermarket here in the UK. Going to have to look and see if there’s anything similar over here!
You kids are beyond adorable!! Thanks for the tips I love that this milk has no added nasties cus that is the last thing we want to be feeding our kids !! thanks xoxo
I have not tried Fairlife milk. If I had a really good coupon I might. But the price point is a bit high for me. My kids sure do like chocolate milk though!
I love Fairlife chocolate milk! I didn’t expect to read this 🙂 I really like their chocolate milk so much.
My daughter will be transitioning to milk soon, we will definitely try out Fairlife. Sounds like the perfect option for our family.
Great photos. The children sure enjoy Fairlife milk. I have never tried it but will look for it the next time I am shopping.
It sounds like an amazing brand of milk especially for the kids. I love that it doesn’t contain much sugar and it’s super healthy as well. I don’t have kids but I’d still get this to add on to smoothies and what not!
The kids seem to be enjoying it and they are a good marker of milk taste. I have not seen this in my local stores.
Its great that it doesn’t contain added growth hormones. Looks like its a hit with the kids!
